  15.   <li>NTStatus Manager polls Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0 servers. It checks whether the server's
  16.     filesystem is available. </li>
  17.   <li>NTSM polls the servers by name rather than the IP address. </li>
  18.   <li>NTStatus Manager will send an alert if name resolution fails (E.G.: WINS), server
  19.     service is stopped, NT server is out of memory to the point of RPC service not responding,
  20.     or if an NT server itself is not responding. </li>
  21.   <li><font size="3">NTStatus Manager not only "pings" the servers. Instead this
  22.     software establishes an RPC connection with NT server. There are many cases where
  23.     traditional network management software does not alarm that server is inaccessible, even
  24.     though it is apparent to users that it is. For example,</font><font color="#000000"
  25.     size="3"> if</font><font color="#FF0000" size="3"> </font><strong><font color="#000000"
  26.     size="3">Windows NT Server service stops</font><font size="3">,</strong> (service that
  27.     enables clients to connect to the server) traditional PING utility or any utilities that
  28.     are based on similar technique simply fail. As long as the server itself is running
  29.     traditional software package do not alarm. </font><font color="#FF0000" size="3">Another
  30.     example would be server dangerously low on virtual or physical memory.</font><font
  31.     size="3"> In many cases, such server would be running, however, clients accessing the
  32.     server would receive an error such as </font><font color="#FF0000" size="3">RPC server too
  33.     busy, or Not enough server storage available.</font><font size="3"> Such problems are
  34.     difficult to prevent unless you have software that understands NT. NTStatus Manager is
